Jon Epcar

Drummer/ Songwriter



Born and raised in LA, drummer Jon Epcar currently resides in NYC.  He is a founding member of Interscope band CARNEY, with whom he toured and recorded with for 6 years, opening for U2, Arcade Fire, Fergie, Govt Mule, and many others.  In 2010, Julie Taymor, Bono and The Edge hired the band to take part in Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.  Since then, he has worked with many artists, including Bono & The Edge, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Rihanna, Natasha Bedingfield, Carly Rae Jepsen, Klangkarussell, Matt Morris, Madison Beer, Cristian Castro, Katie Melua, Evan Rachel Wood, Jackson Harris, Jesse James, The Ghostwriters, Taryn Manning, Matt & Kim, John Issac Watters, and Danelia Cotton.  On Broadway, he originated the drum chairs for Spider-Man and Amelie.  He is also a founding member of LA based instrumental group The Left Coast Funk Orchestra.  Jon's debut album as a bandleader, MORNING DRONE was released January 2017.  He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and proudly endorses Paiste Cymbals, Vater Drumsticks, Reflexx Drumpads, and Aquarian Drumheads.
